Presentation of the 12!

The pups are now 1 day old, and everybody are developing nicely so far. Arwen seems to have enough milk, but with 12 pups we have to watch carefully. Here comes a presentation, with pics!

Miss Red: Correct ridge.
Miss Orange: Correct ridge. (Very similar to Miss Red)
Miss Green: Correct ridge.
Miss Yellow: Correct ridge (we think).
Miss Liver (without a collar): Correct ridge. Livernose.
Miss Champagne: Correct ridge. White socks.
Miss Pink: Correct ridge. White socks. Livernose.
Miss Purple: Ridgefault. The ridge is similar in the top and bottom (with crown/box).

Mr Black: Correct ridge.
Mr Blue: Correct ridge. White socks.
Mr Grey: Correct ridge. White socks.
Mr Brown: Ridgefault. 1 extra crown in the ridge.

No DS

This morning I had Hilde from Beyo Bel here for a DS (sinus) check. Luckily she didn’t find any! I’m so relived and grateful! Thank you for comming all the long way so soon after the birth, Hilde!

12 is the number!

It’s almost Wednesday morning and it’s 13 hours since Arwen started to give birth. And we have 12 miracles in the puppy pen!!! 12 in almost 13 hours. I’m speechless! 8 girls and 4 boys! As far as I can see we have one boy and one girl that have a ridgefault. And some have some white socks. And 2 wonderful liver nosed girls! Finally we have some here at Adorea! 
In some hours we will have the first DS check, and I can’t say I look forward to that! But it will be nice to be done with that.
Arwen is an amazing mom, and she just lay there giving birth to one puppy after another while breastfeeding the others. Super-mom!
I think (and hope) she is finished now. 12 angels made on New Years Eve! WOW! Magical!

We have now 9 pups in the puppy pen! 5 girls and 4 boys! Arwen is a really good mom. She feed the pups while she push out new ones! Amazing to watch! Here are some pics:

03:15 A girl! Ridgefailt, but very beautiful!

01:10: A girl: Seems correct!

01:00: A girl. Seems correct, but with a larger white sock. Liver!

22:35 A boy! Seems correct, and he has nice white socks on his front paws!

20:55 A girl! Seems correct!

18:40 A girl. Seems correct!

18:25 A girl! Seems correct!

17:30 A boy! Seems correct, and he has nice white socks on his front paws!

15:50 Right after the first girl a new girl and a boy arrived. The girl seems correct and the boy has a ridgefault. So we have 3 pups in the puppy pen! 🙂

14:40 The first puppy ha arrived! A liver girl. Seems correct.

13:45 Arwen has started to get restless, and the temperature is falling. Right now it’s 36,68. So we think that perhaps this night it will happen!
If the delivery is normal I will update this blog for each puppy that is born.
